Last Order Dates and Holiday Information

Last Order Dates

To ensure all orders are sent on or before the last shipping date to each region, as recommended by Deutsche Post, the last order dates are as follows:

December 20 - Deutschland

December 10 - European Union

December   5 - Rest of the World

Orders placed after these dates will be packed and shipped in the usual timely manner but can not be guaranteed to arrive in time for the holidays. Please remember that ultimately I have no control over the speed at which something is delivered - that is the responsibility of the national and international mail carriers only.

Holiday Information

Due to the volume of mail that goes missing worldwide during the holiday season*, I strongly advise individuals select tracking and insurance at checkout. The economy shipping rate is just that - an economy option for those who want to minimise expense - and as a result it comes without tracking and insurance. Without tracking neither you nor I can locate a delayed or potentially mislaid package, and without insurance I am unable to provide a refund or replacement in the event of a package failing to arrive at all. The cost of tracking and insurance is an extra $2.95. I do not profit from this - it's a surcharge levied by Deutsche Post.

* This is not specific to my business, this is a more general, unfortunate state of affairs.

International tracking does require a signature upon delivery, so please take this into consideration when selecting your shipping address at checkout. Please also remember that buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. 

If you selected tracking and insurance at checkout you will be provided with a 13 character tracking number in the shipping confirmation email. You can use this to track your order initially through the Deutsche Post website, and subsequently your national mail carrier's website once it's in the country. As one would expect, the Deutsche Post site is almost entirely in German and offers little translation into other languages. Unless you speak German you will need to use a translation tool such as Google Translate to determine what it says. Please remember that this business is run by ONE person - me! - and I ask therefore that you refrain from contacting me to ask for a translation as I'm unable to devote time to this task for every customer.

If you have a query about an order for which you already have a confirmation email please quote the order number in any correspondence with me. Due to the volume of orders I receive I simply will not pull up information on your order status if I don't have a number to search for.
